Rita Snead (49) was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession and use of Drug Related Objects, Possession of Marijuana less than Ounce, and Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance.
Thomas Cox (28) was arrested and charged with Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance, Possession and use of Drug Related Objects, Possession of Marijuana less than Ounce. A search warrant was conducted in the Whisper Ridge Loop area and a substance believed to be methamphetamine was found as well as suspected marijuana and other drug related objects. Snead and Cox were at the residence and both were transported to the Brantley County Detention Center.
Deputies met with complainant at the Brantley County Sheriff’s Office in reference to Forgery. Complainant stated that someone had used their name to obtain a loan.
Antonio Tiquet (51)was arrested and charged with Driving While License Withdrawn, Operation of Unregistered Vehicle. Deputies on routine patrol on Hwy 520 at Hwy 110 West initiated a traffic stop on the Tiquet’s vehicle for occupants not wearing seat belts. It was determined the driver (Tiquet) nor the passenger had a license.
Deputies responded to Chicora Rd in reference to Theft by Conversion/Theft by Deception. Complainant stated they wrote the offender a check to repair an a/c system and the offender cashed the check but did not perform the repair.
Deputies responded to the 30 block of Janie Circle in reference to Theft by Taking/Burglary. Complainant stated an unknown subject entered their residence and stole their prescription medication.
Deputies responded to 40 block of Janie Circle in reference to Financial Transaction Card Theft. Complainant stated that their child support benefit card had been stolen.
Deputies responded to the 100 block of Armadillo Rd in reference to Theft by Taking. Complainant stated that someone had stolen their prescription medication.
Chris Herrin (44) was arrested and charged with Driving While License Suspended, DUI, Possession of Open Alcohol Container. During routine patrol deputies were behind Herrin’s vehicle and noticed the tag was expired. They performed a traffic stop and it was discovered that Herrin had been drinking. A breath test was performed to confirm presence of alcohol.
Deputies met with complainant at the Brantley County Sheriff’s Office in reference to Identity Theft Fraud. Complainant stated someone obtained Verizon Service using their name and they have been receiving bills for the service.
Kyle Wilson (36) was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana less than Ounce. Deputies observed the suspect vehicle at the red light and noticed the tint looked to be extremely dark violating state law. Deputies asked for consent to search Wilson’s person which he stated it was ok. A clear plastic baggie containing suspected marijuana was located in Wilson’s pocket. The driver was cited for Window Tint Violation and Wilson was transported to the Brantley County Detention Center.
Deputies responded to Ray Sapp Lane in reference to Criminal Damage to Property. Complainant stated that the tenants are moving out but while they were staying there they knocked holes in the kitchen cabinets and broke several doors.
