Thieves get away with $400,000 tractor, planter in K’Ville

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office  says someone stole a John Deere tractor and planters from a farm in K’Ville, in the northwestern part of the county, last week and caused extensive damage to the equipment after driving it through a growth of large pine trees.

Police said the tractor and attachments are worth about $400,000.
