Lori Quigley, a former McIntosh County Academy math teacher who was arrested in March on three counts of sexual assault upon two of her former students, was arrested on May 30 on charge of criminal attempt to commit sexual assault by a person with supervisory or disciplinary authority.
The warrant issued on May 28 stated that Quigley “attempted to engage in sexual intercourse” with one of her pupils in her mathematics class between the months of August 2011 to May 2013.
Quigley was booked and released on May 30. The bond was placed under the three prior charges in the bond was set at $50,000 and Quigley must have no contact with any individuals under the age of 18, and must not have contact with any former students, even if the individuals are over the age of 18.
Quigley resigned from her teaching position at MCA on March 5.
